Test Instructions

In order for the test to be really effective (i.e. to describe yourself better) you are required to focus on it at the best of your abilities. Before taking the test, try to find a quiet space, be sure to have at least 40 minutes available, and a good internet connection. The test can be performed only once.

This test was designed to evaluate behavioural skills developed as a result of volunteer experience abroad.

With your recent experience abroad in mind, respond as sincerely and spontaneously as possible, trying to think about your usual behaviour. Remember that there are no right or wrong answers but only correspondences or differences between the statements and your way of being.

You must answer all the questions in order for the test to be valid and useful.
To take the test, please fill in the registration form first. In case of need, contact easy@focsiv.it

As you will see the test consists of 3 parts:

Part 1
A series of statements that describes behaviours or ways of being, you will be asked to indicate how much each statement is near or far from your real way of being and behaving, Eg.: “when I meet a new person I ask many questions to get to know him/her” □ Strongly agree  □  Partly agree  □ Disagree  □ Strongly disagree If you think that this behaviour describes you, you may select the alternative “strongly agree”; if you think that you use this behaviour very rarely and it does not represent you, you can click on “disagree” or “strongly disagree”.
Part 2
The second part includes one series of statements that describe 2 alternative behaviours , you will be asked to indicate how much you feel close to one of the two statements
When I meet a new person, I’m inclined to tell him/her everything about me 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 When I meet a new person, I’m inclined to be reserved about my personal matters
If you think that the behaviour that better describes you is “when I meet a new person, I’m inclined to tell him/her everything about me” you have to click on number 1, 2, or 3 according to your level of agreement. If you think instead that the two statements can both be true, you can click on 4 or 5, according to whether the statement on the left (4) or on the right (5) is the one you feel the closest to. If, otherwise, you think that the behaviour that best describes you between the two proposed is "when I meet a new person I tend to be reserved on my personal matters" you can click on 6-7, or even 8 if you fully agree with that statement.
Part 3
The third part of the test includes some concrete cases instead, one situation is described and 4 alternative answers are specified. Please note that these answers are all valid, you just have to choose the one you would act upon when being in a similar situation. You can choose just one answer.

Thank you and best of luck!
